Elizabeth A. Parker currently serves as a guardian ad litem, parenting coordinator, and mediator.

In addition to serving children and families in the courtroom, Ms. Parker is currently a doctoral candidate in Counseling Psychology at Carlow University, bringing over a decade of experience as a family law attorney to her graduate studies. Following her graduation from Duquesne University School of Law in 2012, Liz dedicated her legal career to advocating for vulnerable individuals, particularly victims of domestic violence. Her work within the legal system highlighted its limitations in addressing the psychological complexities faced by these individuals, especially children, a realization that motivated her pursuit of a Master of Arts in Psychology from Carlow University in 2023. Her academic achievements at Carlow have been recognized with induction into the Psi Chi International Honors Society.

Ms. Parker continues to actively contribute to the legal community as a speaker, having presented at events such as the ABA Equal Justice Conference and the Pennsylvania Conference of State Trial Judges, and recently co-presenting a Continuing Legal Education training program with Dr. Deborah Gilman on "Mastering Intimate Partner Violence and Coercive Control in Family Law." Her written contributions include authoring articles for the ACBA Lawyers Journal and co-authoring the Eleventh and Twelfth Editions of the Pennsylvania Family Law Citator. Ms. Parker was recently named 2025 Super Lawyers Pennsylvania Rising Star.
